I really like the size and functionality of these jars. I hate dipping my fingers into jars to get product out because a lot of it just ends up underneath my fingernails and it feels kind of unsanitary. This is a great solution for that.I tested this out with some beef tallow that I wanted to put in my tiny work locker. The jar parts all come apart very easily, so it should be simple to clean before reuse. There are no instructions that come with the jars, and it doesn’t necessarily need them for the most part… except on the listing it says to push down the vacuum part when resetting it, and nowhere anywhere does it suggest a fill line.Was I right when I thought I could just loosely fill the white jar and there would be enough room for the pump because I didn’t pack it down in there? Oh man, I was worse than right: I was wrong.I worked slowly, so when it started to overflow, I just used the lotion on my limbs; but then it was in the jar threading, and then it was on the outside of the jar, and then it was somehow in between the outer and inner jar. It kept oozing out everywhere no matter how much I scooped out or wiped off. I had to take a tissue to the threading to get it to secure correctly in the end.It does work, and I really like these jars and plan to use them while traveling… but boy oh boy a fill line would be super helpful in letting me know just how much room is taken up by that lid pump. It’s so much more than you’d think.
