Over the years, I wear through keyboard and mouse rests. This is my 5th such purchase and I will continue to buy them every time I wear a hole in one. Which leads me to… yes you can wear holes in them. It takes a very long time, depending on use but it does happen. I use my computer for work, all day (8-12 hours), everyday, 250 days a year. I would consider my use “excessive” and yet this still holds up. I replace my mouse and keyboard rests about once every 2-3 years.These are not only sturdy they are FUN! When I am sitting through meetings I often find myself kneading the rest. I use a normal keyboard, with it raised to the first rung on the keyboard. I don’t use a curved keyboard. The height is perfect for my use.The only downside is that the packaging has a very strong glue on the back. That glue doesn’t come off easily and you will at times find your rest stuck to your desk.
