I’ve recently tested 5 sets of keyboard/mouse wrist pads, and this is the winner of the products I compared. The premium look and feel of this set stands out from the rest, especially when looking at the wooden base features.Typical keyboard wrists have a Lycra cover that is laminated to a foam support pad. The key issue that often arises in these is that the fabric start to delaminate from the edges of the foam over time. The bottom edge often has a ragged appearance based on the fabric trimming process. These pads, in contrast have a wooden base so the material can be tucked neatly underneath. Brilliant! The fabric surface material of these is also very smooth and silky feeling; which provides a good glide path for your wrists. Both bases feature anti-skid pads so they stay put on your desk. The vibrant color options provided are also nice. The width and height of the pads are perfect and support a range of keyboard sizes from 60% to full-size.I reviewed the sky blue version, which tapers down to a smaller width in the middle. After trying this, I think I would prefer the shape of the dog or tulip versions which maintain a constant width. They aren’t as sensitive to the placement relative to the keyboard. The matching coffee mug coaster is an added bonus giving your desk a smart matching appearance. This set checks all the boxes for function and appearance. If you’re looking for a comfortable wrist support set with striking good looks, this is definitely one to consider. Highly recommended.Update – after using this for longer time I’ve found that I sometimes need to flip the orientation of the wrist support against the keyboard to allow for proper placement of my wrists. It somewhat depends on the size and type of keyboard you use. Also, I’ve found other wooden and silicone wrist supports that I also like as much (or better) than this one.
